This is an overview of a Learning Management System (LMS) design created for a small start up called Pro Compliance. They are a course sharing company to help people gain new qualificaitons to level themselves up for the workplace.
The Process
The site was quickly wireframed and designed in Adobe Xd. I decided to choose the light blue and off-white colours to resemble a minimalistic effect. This allowed me to keep all text darker in a grey/black colour and also use any bright accent colours in future designs and pages if desired.
Design
The web app was quickly wireframed and designed in Adobe Xd. I followed the clients branding to stay conssitent with their business and with their already existing website. This actually made the design a lot easier as I was able to follow their style quick easily.
Hinderances
There were some hindrances experienced during the project, mainly time management and revisions. They client was very particular with how they visualised the LMS, which I thought was great as it meant that they were active and they interacted with me and the desgin a lot.
Conclusion
I am happy with how the project turned out, considering this was my first big client project, considering I was fresh out of university at the time. It gave me the experience that I needed to be better at design and have a different mindset going into my next projects.
